Hi, I’m Martina, an Italian native, who left her comfort zone and cosy life five months ago to embark on a year of new experiences and discoveries in Norway. I grew up looking at pictures on my dad’s magazines about mountains, climbing and amazing places hiding in the wild nature. Since then I have always wanted to find out what I could learn with travelling and discovering new places. Today I am here, sharing with you my first “solo adventure” from the beginning. I have travelled quite a lot with my family since I was a child. I’ve visited almost every place in my own country, but nothing can be compared to travelling on my own. I want to show you that the exchange year will be the best year of your youth and maybe in your entire life and I would like to give you all the advice that a future exchange student might need.
